This project is a transformation of a basement crawl space into a barrel vaulted wine cellar.
The center focal piece is an African Purple Heart table hand made and includes ‘secret’ drawer which opens with a magnetic key to house lap top. We distressed the edges by beating it with chains and even rolled over the wood with a truck. After sanding and sealing, the surface is incredibly smooth.
An Italian mirror is integrated into wooden storage wall to disguise a wall safe.
The wood structure is hand stamped with small alphabetical and numerical branding coding system to organize the wine collection.
